at The Village Inn

With bags of character and delicious gastropub fare, The Village Inn is everything you could hope for in one of Devon’s classic traditional pubs, along with an added charm of its own. After all, it’s not every day you enjoy a pint beneath the beams of wrecked Spanish Armada ships, or savour chef’s favourites along with a perfectly conditioned pint of craft beer.

The Village Inn is an essential stop for everyone from new guests to old locals. Passing walkers also seem to have a magnetic attraction to its charms. From summer afternoons outside, to cosy winter evenings by the fire, there is always something to look forward to, with a signature menu and welcoming ambiance. Dogs and children are very welcome.

The Village Inn offers a friendly atmosphere and relaxed dining every day. Young ones and well-behaved dogs are also welcome come rain or shine, making this a great place to eat out for the whole family.

Opening Times: 

Monday - Thursday open from 12:00pm - 3:00pm and 6:00pm - 10:30pm
Friday - Sunday open from 12:00pm - 10:30pm


Monday - Saturday Food served from 12.00-14.00 /  18.00-21.00

Sunday  Food served from 12.00-14.00 and 18.00 -20.15

                                                                                     

Free Wi-fi available.

Please note out of respect for our neighbours, no drinks, glassware or food is to be taken
outside after 9pm daily.

 If you wish to smoke, then could we please respectfully ask that you keep the noise to a  minimum and in groups of less than five people.
